Great job! Ya know, it’s hard to say whether The Fatman Cometh would fare better on or off.I think for us it’s probably a little harder to tell with no knowledge of the material, but I could probably think of reasons it would work for either. Bye Julie, don’t let the flying mechanisms hit you on the way out. The weather seemed crazy out there!
The HD looks beautiful! A++ Also I love love love that you kept in those bloopers in the middle. Very clever, and it was a great touch.
The High Definition quality looks Amazing!! I could practically touch the Intrepid. I think there are enough Chris Farley fans (including myself) to support a play that pays respect to a man who didn’t let Hollywood’s streotypical mold keep him from entertaining the world with his own creation of comedy. His contribution was short lived but very impressionable and it would be insightful to learn how he knocked down barriers to create a following. Hopefully this play will inspire more talented closet actors to follow in his footseps.
A play about Chris Farley? Interesting. I don’t think I am the targeted audience, but if someone handed me free tickets or offered me discounted tickets, I would probably go. Not because I am a Farley fan per se, but because I would appreciate the play’s environment and references. It would feel familiar in a fun way. Now might be a great time for a play like that.
As for Taymor’s ousting from Spiderman, wow! I guess that is showbusiness. I wouldn’t fare well in show business would I? A project can continue after you invested nine years into it? I have a hard time swallowing that one. Then again, I also was never sold by the idea of Spiderman on Broadway, so there’s also that…
Great episode, Jesse! I love the logo. As always, I have a HUGE fan of Stage Rush :)
P.S. I would have a hard time pronouncing “A Championship Season” too.
That Championship Season is an American masterpiece. It is as good as anything Arthur Miller ever wrote. I saw the original production which was a smash hit, and I can say this is better. Cox is wonderful, but it is Jason Patric who dominates this show in such a wrenchingly tragic and subtle way. He is hilarious and moving. Best show of the season.
Your home is valueble for me. Thanks!…
